St. Joseph Valley Section is one of 20 local sections within The Great Lakes Region (GLR) of the American Chemical Society. This region encompasses sections from Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, North Dakota, Ohio, and Wisconsin. The GLR held their first regional meeting in Chicago in 2009 and hosts regular technical meetings, seminars, and networking events for their members. The Board of Directors of the Region is made of one representative from each of the 20 Local Sections within the Region. The SJV ACS Section representative is currently Jim Manore.
